Shannan Reid is a Chamber strategist specializing in member retention, persona development, and first-year engagement systems. Her work focuses on helping Chambers and membership organizations align their programs, communications, and value propositions with members’ real motivations.

Shannan’s Chamber career began in 2012 with Historic Montgomery, where she quickly recognized the community’s growth trajectory and the need for a more structured business ecosystem. She played a central role in the transition to the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce in 2015 and later helped guide its growth through membership, engagement, and program development. She also navigated a successful merger with the neighboring Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber to create a regional impact.

Over the past decade, Shannan has developed practical frameworks around member personas, onboarding journeys, and automated communication pathways designed to improve retention and perceived value. Her work blends behavioral insight with operational applications, equipping Chamber staff and Boards with tools they can implement immediately.

Today, she shares these proven models through workshops, webinars, and consulting engagements to help organizations move from activity-driven programming to outcome-driven member alignment.
