Mentoring is the catalyst for the future of work.
Attracting, developing, and retaining talent is one of the greatest challenges your members are facing. The diversity of work environments is constantly changing with Millennials and Gen Zs making up most of the workforce and a large percentage of Baby Boomers retiring. This creates the perfect opportunity for cross-generational and cross-cultural learning and development through mentorship.
Mentoring is more than personal professional development. The implementation of a structured mentoring program is an effective business strategy for your membership organization to transform its culture, provide unique value to your members, and positively grow non-dues revenue.
Join Alex Richardson, CEO of Art of Mentoring, and Cathi Hight for a fireside discussion about the best practices for implementing mentoring programs, some examples of programs being run well with associations, and how to design a program for success. We’ll also explore ways to fund mentoring programs through sponsorships and partnerships, and the various applications for mentoring for DEI or Early Career workforce development initiatives.
How can mentoring bring your members together intentionally and successfully?

At the core of this is enabling conversations to go beyond coffee catch ups and move into the transformational space. It is also about human centric design principles being applied to programs that are designed to solve problems or build opportunity.”
