Brittany Castellon

Director of Membership Experience, Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber

Brittany Castellon has been the Director of Membership Experience at the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber since January 2024, bringing nearly a decade of real estate and business development experience. A licensed Realtor in Montgomery County for almost nine years, she transitioned into business development in 2021, where she became a Chamber member and Diplomat. When the opportunity arose to join the Chamber staff and focus on member retention, she jumped at the chance — and hasn’t looked back.

With a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University, Brittany excels at building relationships and creating a welcoming Chamber experience. She believes in treating members how she would want to be treated — through clear communication, genuine care, and thoughtful engagement. She has also developed automated systems to deliver important information while integrating personalized touches, ensuring members feel valued and connected.

Brittany lives in Willis, TX with her husband, Tony. She has two married daughters and eagerly awaits grandbaby #5 in May. An avid animal lover, she shares her home with three dogs, a cat, and a very special grand-dog.

 

Shannan Reid

Director of Community Relations, Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber

Shannan Reid brings over a decade of Chamber leadership to her role as Director of Community Relations for the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber, where she now focuses on legislative affairs, economic development, and community initiatives. Formerly the Executive Director of the Montgomery Area Chamber, she built a strong foundation of her chamber knowledge in member engagement, marketing, event planning, and community outreach.

With degrees in Fine Arts/Dance (AA), Speech Communications/Public Speaking (BA), and Educational Leadership (MEd), Shannan began her career in public education. Her passion for teaching now empowers her to equip business leaders as they navigate economic and community dynamics.

Shannan resides in Montgomery with her husband, Russell, and their rescue Remi. They enjoy time with their grown children nearby and proudly embrace their new grandparent roles of Bobbi + Big Time.

Cathi is recognized nationally for her work and is the author of The Member Retention Kit and A New Approach to Tiered Membership, and developer of the Work Smarter, Not Harder program. She provides resources to help organizations stay relevant, effectively communicate the value of membership, and increase their bottom line.

She has presented at many state and national conferences for associations and chambers of commerce and has been an instructor for Institute for Organization Management (IOM) since 2004.
